This challenge supports the use of materials found in the Character Unit of the OpenFiction Project, a free and open introductory fiction writing course
The goals of this challenge are to:
• develop a critical vocabulary for discussling character in fictional narrative
• practice identifying and describing elements of character in fictional narrative, and
• learn drafting and revision techniques for improving the character development of your own work.
Complete one of the character development exercises listed on page seven of the Character unit of the OpenFiction Project materials and post it as a comment in the discussion forum of this task, or check Optional Task 6 of this challenge to see if anyone has submitted a substitute character development exercise that doesn't require the book.
