This challenge supports the use of materials found in the Description Unit of the OpenFiction Project, a free and open introductory fiction writing course
The goals of this challenge are to:
• develop a critical vocabulary for discussling description in fictional narrative
• practice identifying and describing elements of description in fictional narrative, and
• learn drafting and revision techniques for improving descripion in your own work.
Read through to page 6 of the Description unit and complete the What If...? exercise "Practice writing good, clean prose." Post the assignment to the discussion forum of this task.
