This challenge supports the use of materials found in the Description Unit of the OpenFiction Project, a free and open introductory fiction writing course
The goals of this challenge are to:
• develop a critical vocabulary for discussling description in fictional narrative
• practice identifying and describing elements of description in fictional narrative, and
• learn drafting and revision techniques for improving descripion in your own work.
Complete the assignment described on page 11 of the Description unit, and then see if you have any observations habout Dinesen's description that haven't been noticed by your peers. Post your response to the discussion forum of this task.
