This challenge supports the use of materials found in the Plot Unit of the OpenFiction Project, a free and open introductory fiction writing course
The goals of this challenge are to:
• develop a critical vocabulary for discussling fictional narrative plot
• practice identifying and describing elements of fictional narrative plot, and
• learn drafting and revision techniques for improving the plot structures of your own work.
But don't think about it too much. Don't let it slow you down, but give some thought to how you might use your new knowledge of plot to help you write your story. If you like, you can post your reflections on the plot of your draft to the discussion forum of this task.
