Learn how to plan and run a Hackasaurus hack jam.
Hackasaurus is an open source toolkit that lets people see and play with the building blocks of the Web. Hackasaurus Jams help people explore and learn Web Literacy skills by taking apart and making things on the Web. These events help participants see the Web as a hand-made public asset for creativity.
In this challenge, you'll learn how to use the Hackasaurus tools, dabble with the basics of HTML and CSS, and meet new people. Then, you'll design and implement your own unique Hackasaurus Jam to share webmaking skills with others.
Create Talking Points It is important to talk and write about your event using clear, consistent language. Craft 3-5 sentences or ideas that help you explain the focus, structure and goals of your event. Here are some sample talking points and FAQs—feel free to borrow or remix them.
Share your Ideas. Post your talking points in the Task Discussion. Review and comment on at least two of your peers' posts.
Rinse. Repeat.After collecting feedback from your peers, it's important to incorporate them into your talking points. Review the comments from your peers and make any changes.
