What made you interested in this topic?
I'm interested in the idea of providing a structure for others to innovate as a theory that can be applied to many roles. I'm especially interested in exploring ways to approach artistic practice, teaching, and small scale real estate development.
What do you hope to achieve by participating?
This would be my first p2pu course, so I hope to get hooked and gain motivation to do more.
I also want to come away with some developed ideas for implementing the course content in things that I do & want to pursue.
Are you interested in helping with the study group organization?
I don't really know what that means or entails.

-I absolutely LOVE innovating, and am in the process of going back to school to get my engineering degree (possible masters+). I have a passion in business development, improving the human condition, mind-computer (BCI) interfaces, robotics, renewable energy (wind/hydro power), chemistry, electrical circuitry and finally neuroprosthetics,.
-I hope to understand the process of prototyping and innovation, and better myself for a future business.
-I will do my best to help out, however don't know how much I could yet :)

Hi! I'm a 23 y.o. Chemistry student in love with Plastic Electronics. I want to learn...well, everything I can, about everything there is.
I live in sunny Lisbon with my boyfriend and two cats.

Standard Set Answer:
I'm finishing up my studies and have no idea what I'll do with my 7 years of college. I'm interested in applying what i've learned to practical ideas in sustainable/ecological technologies. but don't know how to start without high-tech infrastructures and guidance.
So, I'm looking for pratical knowledge in how to create new technologies without the support of an university lab, and hopefully learn how to do some pratical projects of my own.
Seeing as I feel very unexperienced and all my knowledge is theoretical, I'm not sure I can be of any help. But if I feel I have something to contribute, I'll try to do so.

A digital Knowmad who thinks in terms of people over place and likes to experiment in bringing the two together. My current question? How do we design emotionally engaging learning experiences for business and education? I like to think of myself as a learning designer (sounds fancy, right?) I am extremely fascinated with the future/now of learning.
Location: Oslo, Norway
Standard Set Answer:
I have been interested in the open innovation culture companies can create both internally and through the products/services they can co-create through collaborating with others. Like my bio says, my biggest question is: How do we design emotionally engaging learning experiences for business and education?
I believe this can be explored through learning to play, creatively. That's what I spend a lot of my time researching. When I'm not doing that, I'm giving workshops, presentations, hosting events (pop-up 'learning spaces/do tank' style things) as well as creating a service design/design thinking community and I hope these projects can be enhanced through taking part in this learning experience. I hope to connect with others focused on things like these as well as related topics; for anything from good dialogue/knowledge sharing to potential collaboration. I also hope to recieve support/motivation/feedback for my own research and projects and also hope to share this.
I would love to help organize! In a way, I feel this learning experience needs to be co-created in order to be truly successful!

Standard Set Answer:
Really appreciate collabrative power of human brain, and it does wonders when the thinking is influenced under peer pressure of bringing out very innovative ideas for the mass. The course description sounds interesting in a sense that its innovation strategy is based on open-source technologies which provides a level-playing field between the independent developers and the mighty software giants in the quest of innovating new products.
I am also under a great influence of learning technology called "moddle", been beating around its bush for quite sometime and thinking of innovating a business model which supports cognitive learning for masses.
I guess I would achieve a deeper insight into the innovation needed for today's highly collabrative world, which needs business models supporting collabrative work as its stepping stone.
Yes, definately interested in study group org.

I am involved in various networks of individuals supporting open source, distributed approaches to innovation,
including in the field of post-industrial manufacturing.
Personally my research has been in the field of complementary currencies.
I wish to support the deveopment of certain information systems that can reclaim interdependencies through hybrid metadata ( including current mainstream currency ) created through p2p contracts,
hence an attempt to understand how to develop tools for contract graphs in the realm of social semantic graphs : http://sharewiki.org/en/Transaction_Graphs
I also feel a need to converge "entre-donneurs" ( "in between giving", as opposed to "entre-preneurs", which in french means "in between taking" ) and live together in collectives.
One of my aims is to develop housing cooperatives, such as in Leipzig, as to facilitate such collaborative living space :

This topic is quite similar to what we have been working on here for the last year. Therefore it would be quite interesting to compare notes and learn from an independent group of like minded individuals. If I can make a contribution to the effort, I would be interested and willing to help with the study group organization.
