This course will enable students to study queer approaches to education through the reading of primary texts and the creation of their own project.
Queer pedagogy is the notion that we need to radically examine and redefine how we think about and conceptualize the act of teaching, our notions and practices of knowledge, and our formal and informal curriculum. This course will involve reading of primary texts, the creation of open content study guides, and the creation and execution of an independent intervention project.
