This course will become read-only in the near future. Tell us at community.p2pu.org if that is a problem.
We'll find out how to extract structured data from a web site.
Scraping is a way of extracting structured data from web pages by analyzing their structure and pulling out the bits that you want to have in your data. You can scrape many existing web sites to extract spreadsheets that you can then filter, aggregate or visualize in whatever way you like.
In this challenge you will learn how to extract structured information from a table on a web site. As an example, we'll be using the development aid grants given by the European Union.
