List traits about yourself--maybe a few that you're proud of (being a New Yorker, or a Red Sox fan) or that you're a bit hesitant to come clean about (say, being an NPR listener).
Step 2: Ask around.
Settle on one trait, and your friends and family what those traits mean to them.
