Attend a field trip with your team to a local technology company to kick off the program, learn about what happens inside of a tech company through hands-on activities, and meet the company’s top women executives. Mentors can help arrange a field trip at their own company or find another suitable venue. This should be a weekday field trip where students visit a technology company to learn about what happens “behind the scenes”, get hands-on experience, and meet top-level women. Teams can explore technology companies virtually through online videos (here) or a virtual tour hosted by a remote mentor.
