Hack Day (App Inventor Training) Information [Dec. 14, 2012, 3:23 p.m.]
You will attend a Hack Day with your team where you will learn how to program using App Inventor. The Hack Day curriculum takes approximately 8 hours to complete.
Mentors can help arrange Hack Day through contacts in local colleges and universities or find another suitable venue. Undergraduate and graduate computer science students can volunteer for the event. Teachers can also help to arrange Hack Day. Combine your efforts by reaching out to other teams in your region -- send them a message on P2PU or add a comment below.

Virtual Hack Day:
Teams without access to nearby colleges or universities can complete Hack Day as a series of online tutorials using the tutorial instructions, questions, and PowerPoint presentations provided below.
WHAT TO BRING TO HACK DAY:
- tutorial instructions (PRINT one copy per student)
- tutorial questions (PRINT one copy per student)
- laptops with App Inventor installed
- Android phones (if available)
- USB cables for phones (if available)
- notebook and pencil for taking notes
- camera (optional) for taking photos of the event!
- lunch and water bottle
