Full Description [April 25, 2011, 3:05 p.m.]

This class is for anyone who's had the experience of stopping to reconsider something that you've long-held to be true, maybe even one of your most reliable beliefs, only to then realize that it was deeply, utterly WRONG. (And if you haven't had that experience, you're sure to find one if you come to the class).
Come celebrate the educational epiphanies of wrongness. Share the flashes of knowledge that etched themselves on your brain when you realized that you'd been doing it wrong all these years.

First class will be an open discussion (which is free!), in which we will decide the themes of the next two classes (which will be $5 each

While most classes covering these technologies assume that you know the
questions to ask and just need answers and training, this class is
intended for those who are unfamiliar with the territory. If you have
yet to figure out the best approach or the best choice of technology to
meet your goals, this class will help you understand the fundamental
concepts and terms needed to navigate the ever-changing land of web
technology and design. We will focus on patterns of thinking and
production, illustrated by real world examples. Students will be
encouraged to share and co-develop the techniques they use for
translating their creative intelligence into the medium of the web. The
class will be split into three different sections: Terms & Metaphors
/ Patterns & Practices / Markup & Code
