Hello!
This topic caught my eye immediately! I am currently working to transition career paths, from the typical corporate environment to a more creative and communal setting. This topic is very interesting and could help supplement my studies in expressional and innovative environments, as it explores the various thought patterns, trends and philosophies of diverse personalities. I would love to join and participate. Thank you.

A class that covers art and philosophy/psychology seems to present a good opportunity for my mother and me to share some time together, without either of us becoming bored. I hope to learn how to contextualize art in a way that will make it interesting and meaningful for me and to learn why art plays such a vital role in my mother's life. I don't know if these are realistic or appropriate expectations for this class, so I'd also like to add that as long as I learn something about something, be it art, philosophy, or bicycles, I'll be happy.

The very notion of studying philosophy informally with others seemed enchanting last summer, so I went to Vernon's classes. They blew my mind! Every week's topic, the conversations, questions and musings with my fellow students continued to reverberate and animate my thoughts for the rest of the week. I wouldn't miss this!

Teaching English as a Foreign Language to high school Thai students in a small, coastal Thai town on the Gulf. Learning to speak Thai. Learning to be patient with SL2 learners. Reading. Living. Eager to learn more.
Location: Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand
Standard Set Answer:
I'm always interested in the topic of linguistics, specifically phonetic characteristics and learning more about historical changes in languages across the globe.
I know only very basics about economics, philosophy, government policies. Since living in Asia, I've become more interested in governments and their philosophical and tangible role in the immediate lives of its citizens.
I'm hoping to learn some unexpected things from other participants. I'd really like to explore topics that are yet unknown to me.
Helping the organization? Of course! Whatever I can do from the other side of the world.
