I'm a software engineer who wants to see software used to accomplish positive things in the world, rather than just entertaining people. I believe we should apply the model of appropriate technology to software and critically think about how software and the internet can better our civilization and give people more freedom. I'm passionate about learning and having free or cheap access to it, and believe that p2p learning is a great way for people to learn together.
