I taught secondary school English (grades 7-12; ages 13-18) here in the United States for 25 years. After that milestone (i.e. eligible for pension!) year, I began working at a university http://www.njit.edu/ as the Manager of Instructional Technology which included the development of online courses.
From 2008-2012, I directed a writing initiative at a communty college (PCCC).
I am a logtime advocate for open educational resourses - recently, my focus has been in the of open textbooks in higher education.
