I am almost 40 and I began to teach myself to code in early 2015. I am going through the freecodecamp.com program which is a self paced 1600, free code school that you get to learn and then use those new skills to help non-profit groups while gaining real world experiacne. While I am on the older side to just be learning coding, I love it and am so glad to be able to do this at this time.
