I have 19 years of professional work in the Library Network of the University of Guadalajara (REBIUdeG) where I have worked in different libraries as responsible for the areas of education and training to users, services specialized reference, as well as in the management and TICs management in support of academia and teaching.
Since 2007 I am head of the Department of Public Services in the Coordination of Libraries for REBIUdeG, where development and coordinate projects for the development of library services in the REBIUdeG, among which are: the creation of document repositories, the use of social networks in library services, the reference implementation and consolidation of service, dissemination and promotion of library services, the development of statistical indicators of library services, training and professionalization of library staff and the training academics and teachers, among others.
Along with my work as a librarian, I am subject teacher degree in Library and Knowledge Management (LBGC) Virtual University System of the University of Guadalajara (UDGVirtual) since 2006.
I taught in the following subjects: Diagnosis and Planning (Projects) I, II and III, Workshop II: Audit of the Information System Design and Quality Services, Knowledge Management and Information Culture, Information Retrieval, Titling Project Lic. in Library.
I am currently doing doctoral studies in the program: Doctor of Education in the Knowledge Society at the University of Salamanca (Spain), my thesis topic is oriented towards the study and impact of the movement of "Open Access" (open access) institutions of higher education.
I like to be in constant training and vocational training, so I am an active participant in various programs and graduates of training and professional development.
