In 2009 I graduated from The Evergreen State College, where I studied journalism and web development, and served on the student newspaper in a number of positions, including editor in chief. After my one year term as editor in chief I built the first news website for the student newspaper as my senior year project. After graduating I held a staff position at the college as associate advisor to the student newspaper for two years. Over the years I've worked as a tutor in a writing center, worked on zines, literary journals, and film, art, music, and interactive fiction projects.
I'm proficient in HTML, CSS, Javascript, and have experience with Drupal, Ruby on Rails, and Django. I'm currently learning Node.js, Coffeescript, and CouchDB.
