I learned about the purpose of Open Badges, the logistics behind issuing Open Badges, and how Open Badges can be used. I feel like I deserve this badge because I not only participated in the Task Discussion when I originally took this challenge in June, but it inspired me to get involved with the Open Badges Google Groups Community and eventually issue a badge of my own for a course that I facilitate. During this course, I also developed a presentation that could be used as a resource for people who want to start their own Open class to issue badges.
