    Alas, I won't be there.  I got my other work done enough, but there isn't enough time to do these exercises before 6:00 PM.  It's too bad.

    FYI, I might not be in today.  I've been on vacation for the last week.  I was in Quebec City with my wife 7/8 to 7/12 (yesterday).  I had hoped to use today to do the probability homework.  However, it seems that a lot of other moderately pressing work has piled up in my absence.  If I can't get through that soon enough to finish my homework today, I figure it's probably not a good idea to come to the meeting.  At this point, I'm not sure.
