This course will become read-only in the near future. Tell us at community.p2pu.org if that is a problem.

I just posted comments to Amy and Matty's blogs. I believe Matty's blog requires her to approve my comment. I was "daring" enough to leave my Tumblr blog address on each of the comments I left

I noticed quite a few of the posters here are using Tumblr for their blog—and that's perfectly fine. However, perhaps I am incredible naive to how Tumblr works, but you can't leave a comment on those posts. You can like them and share them, but not comment directly on them (at least, i've not figured out how to do so; not being interested in getting my own Tumblr precludes me from such anyway).
At any rate, I prefer to only post on items when I think said comment would be more than simply saying 'Hello!' This isn't to say I've not made a mental note of some of the most notable blogs I'll likely follow throughout this entire course of study.
Hi Tolleson!
Yes, Tumblr really doesn't have any in-built commenting option. However, it is possible to install external commenting equipment there, like Disqus for instance. Some people do it and you can comment them alright.
Thanks, Anna!
Very helpful information. I'd seen Disqus in use before and was, admittedly, equally confused by that as well, ha.
Thank you for this information! Thanks to you, I was able to add the ability to comment on my Tumbler blog.
Hi everyone out there, i believe hard work is the key to success
