testing out P2PU for the Alfa III project

ALFA III project is a project in Latin America to increase the math skills and knowledge among so-called 'vulnerable' groups (indigenous communities, lower-income schools and areas). We are investigating the P2PU platform to see if it fits in the scope and fulfills the main requirements for the online learning environment. Objectives include peer-based learning, mentoring, and using freely available tools and open educational resources.

Defining our objectives

We have to define our objectives for the mOOC, the MiCosa, and the mentoring program here. Please comment below if we miss something. For now, we have the following.

mOOC

The mOOC is an introduction to all participating students (mentors) and teachers. In this introduction, we aim for the following:

An understanding of the various innovative teaching approaches that teachers;
Following this, preparing 6 week teaching/learning plan that the teacher him- herself will apply at the end of the course;
Getting to know various tools and technologies to support this.
