Social Innovation is not a business strategy or a career path for me, it is a lifestyle.
I traverse a dual career path as a clinical social worker and a social investing consultant. In my spare time, I implement proven mind/body health interventions in inner city, underserved communities to prevent and reverse stress related conditions such as depression, high blood pressure, sexual dysfunction, andropause, etc.
I am here because I need to network with others of like mind and similar skills. I have had to invest my skill set from scratch and seek out opportunities to apply them because in my region, social entrepreneurship is not yet mainstream. I need to connect with others like me as I begin to expose people and communities here to a new way of addressing the need for change.
