Stefanie Panke is Instructional Analyst at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. In her current position, she supports the faculty at the School of Government in pedagogical and technological issues of online learning and teaching. Prior to her current position, Stefanie was Director of E-Learning at Ulm University, Germany, where she implemented various e-learning projects and initiatives. She teaches classes for the Department of Education and Psychology at Ulm University, and conducts application-oriented research projects on social media and open educational resources. Stefanie holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics from the University of Bielefeld. In 2009, she completed her thesis on the information design of educational websites.
