I have been teaching Hackasaurus in elementry school classrooms, mostly recent blog: http://tiptoes.ca/?p=120

I have created a lesson plan that consists of techology slides (talking about hardware, then software, then browers, then webpages, then web pages addresses then Xray Googles). I am currently organizing a hackathon in June at the University of Victoria to bring hacking and coding education to a wider audience of children. My goal is to have 4 hackathons per year, with 1 for girls only.

I am also learning about badges and wanted to add one to my backback to see how it works :D

Emma,

I love the event concept! But believe me, I know what it's like to have limited technology at an event like this- as listed in your 'hacking' post. There is info out there for teaching in a '1 computer classroom' that you may with to look at for ideas- but it's tough! I also love how you are tying different holidays to tech and girls in tech. Great work!
