Hello Everyone!
I am excited for this opportunity to learn about open research! I am familiar with OERs and came upon information about this course on open research. I am presently an adjunct nursing professor for three universities in the U.S. I have been a nurse for more than 30 years and have been teaching in face-to-face and online learning settings for the past 10 years.
I am currently beginning the literature review for a systematic review, addressing the question of what teaching strategies support academic literacy in nursing students who are English language learners. I am looking forward to proceeding with this course, as well as learning about the research that the course facilitators are involved in and that participants are pursuing.
