Hello everyone! My name is Gina and I am a middle school math teacher. I teach in a gifted program that services students in grades 5 through 12. The school I work at has an on-site and online option for students. I teach my cyber/virtual students through an online classroom in Moodle, so I am very interested in the different software and manipulatives that I will be able to use in the classroom. I am also interested in incorporating more online resources for my on-site students as well. Being a teacher in this gifted community is a lot of work, but the students' enthusiasm, projects, and desire to learn is what reminds me every day why I am a teacher and how much I love my job. I am working towards a Masters of Math Education at Arcadia and I look forward to learning new techniques that I can use to enhance and enrich my curriculum for my specific students.
