Completing this task
Since this is an optional task, completion of this task is a little contentious. All of us can get to know Python a little better :)
Mark this task as complete when you are confident that you know enough about basic Python and/or know where to look when you need more help with Python.
I can second learnpythonthehardway! The mechanical mooc is another option, the second run starts somewhere in the next week or so.
If you already know a bit about flask then Django shouldn't present too many difficulties. We are currently trying to move away from some of the specific Django functionality and make the codebase more modular.
Give us a shout if you get stuck.
