Sign-Up Task / First Task

The sign up task isn't very hard but an important aspect to learning jQuery - knowing the basics of Javascript. So, using Rebecca Murphy's jQuery Fundamentals book, complete Part 1: Javascript 101 and explain to me in your own words what variable scope is?

Even if you skim through this chapter it's important to understand some of the fundamentals of javascript - in other words understanding what functions, variables, closures, objects and loops can do. It will make understanding jQuery a whole lot easier and allow you to do a lot more. It shouldn't take you no longer than an hour to finish and you will get a good idea if jQuery is for you?
