  Thought I find out something about changing the prompt in the terminal (I like customising stuff). A quick Google search got me to the file .bashrc (in the root of the home directory) which has lots of interesting stuff. Not only can you give the prompt some colour, you can also (un)define aliases. For instance, 'la' is an alias for 'ls -a' (the '-a' flag shows files starting with a dot / period).

   

  Another 'cool' utility is 'cal'. If you need a calendar for, say, the year 2200, enter 'cal 2200 > filename.txt' and you're sorted :).

  Thanks Robert, Cal is a utility I was not familiar with. Very Cool ;)
