In the next five tasks we are going to go step by step through the process of writing a speech. At each point you are going to write a blog post about your experiences and show the work you have done.

Topic Selection 

The first step in writing a speech is selecting a topic. It can often be frustrating trying to think of an appropriate topic to talk about. In this task we are going to consider some strategies that make the process easier and then select a topic that you wish to write a speech on.

Task

Write a blog post about topic selection, explain what strategies you think are useful and how you decided what topic to write a speech about.

When you are writing your blog post think about how you can use mystery to make it more interesting. You are explaining a decision making process, so think about when you should reveal your decision.
