Good news - there's no real activities to add here.

One of the articles in the database gave information on HIDs - high intensity lights. Are these a good thing or a bad thing? What do you think?

The point to note is that there is no data presented at all. The article is based on a personal opinion by a London Cab Driver (who thinks they are a bad thing) and the SMMT (Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders) who think they are a good thing.

The reason for listing this article is the need to avoid anecdotes. I have my own opinions, you have yours, the Cabby had theirs, the SMMT have theirs. It all makes for a good newspaper article, but without data we know nothing about whether any collisions can be attributed to these things, whether these things prevent collisions.
