Former Open Source Advocate, Disillusioned (but nonetheless) Free Software Advocate, (Passionate) Free Culture Advocate in eternally vigilant search of truth and meaning...
The world is hideous and exploitative, the world is beautiful and whole, and people are (mostly) full of crap, but they can occasionally do some awe-inspiring good things:
GNU/Linux, QuestionCopyright, Python, Raspberry Pi (soon,) Mozilla, Definition of Free Cultural Works, EFF, Bruce Perens, Terry Hancock and Benjamin Mako Hill.
Don't let the bastards win, and especially don't let them rewrite history. The world is ill largely in part because modern history is being rewritten before anyone knows what's going on. Also, brands carry more value than integrity. (But Save Tux anyway.)
