I am a single mother of a wonderful 16 year old son, ive had a wonderful career as a cosmetologist in upscale salons for many years in California, Ive been forced to slow down a bit due to recently becoming disabledd, so ive focused my attention on knowledge. I have been studying web design, delving into just about everything "computer", and have now comitted to starting ecommerce businesses, blogs, as well as studying seo and hopefully delving into that in the near future as well. I am very hands on, friends still shake their heads when i can repair the computer for them that simply wouldnt work , give them an amazing new haircolor and style, then return home build a bed frame or shelves or work on beading an amazing piece of jewelry. :) I feel more fullfilled at this point in my life than i ever have before ! Realizing that you can do all the things you never imagined doing or that you always called on someone else to do for you, and that all it takes is a visit to this amazing new technology called the worldwideweb and the ability and desire to learn and be self sufficient , and then applying that, just amazes me each and every day. I am a Girl in Tech !!! I would love for every woman on earth to be able to feel as empowered as technology has allowed me to feel.
