Welcome to this course in beginning French! My name is Justin Hamilton, and I will be the 'leader' of this course. I am working on achieving my BA in French language, as well as getting my teaching license, and have been taking French courses for roughly ten years now.

For this first task, I would like anyone who signs up to come here and post a few things about yourself:

• What is your name? (Or, whatever. An alias is fine!)
• How much, if any, experience do you have in French?
• Why do you want to learn French?
• How much do you think you will invest yourself in this course?

I hope that you all enjoy this course here, and I hope that you all are able to profit from it. While you obviously don't recieve any direct credit, you can achieve CLEP credit if you progress far enough, or you will at least be able to ace a placement test, saving you a lot of money, in college.
