Sign-Up


Anyone can follow a study group on P2PU. Participating is the next level of engagement. The sign-up is a space where interested individuals can express their interest and background in the topic and commit to working with the rest of the participants. Please answer the following set(s) of questions if you want to become a participant or organizer.

Standard Set

This set of signup questions is common to all study groups, courses, ... in P2PU. The answers to these questions will be public once you get accepted.

  • What made you interested in this topic?
  • What do you hope to achieve by participating?
  • Are you interested in helping with the study group organization?

Between Participants Custom Set

This set of signup questions is particular to this study group. The answers to these questions will be visible to all participants once you get accepted.

Please answer the following questions: 1. How you interact with learning material, for example as teacher, learner, publisher etc? 2. Please briefly describe the biggest issues you have experienced with access to learning materials, in your work. 3. What type of learning materials do you use? 4. What do you do with the learning material, for example do you hand it out to your learners? 5. What type of technologies do you have access to at your institution and/or at your home for preparation, and for teaching? 6. What type of technologies do the learners you are connected with have access to for learning? 7.Do you share learning materials on the Internet? a. If yes, do you post materials on the Internet or do you reproduce materials off the Internet or both? b. If you do not use these materials, please explain why. c. If you do reproduce teaching material from the Internet, then do you obtain it at specific sites or all over the Internet? 8.What is copyright? 9.Are you aware of copyright exceptions such as fair use or fair dealing? If so, do you make use of copyright exceptions in your educational work? 10. From what sources do you gain your knowledge of copyright? 12. When looking for materials to use in education do you consider copyright? If so, why? And how?
