posted message: I am trying to think about how I could help organize this and have been thinking one approach could be to aim have a series of conversations leading to actually publishing a series of white papers, pamphlets, books, etc. together. For example: we could: 1) Kick off a research topic with an open community call to present the topic / thesis, share big questions, discuss the scope of the topic, etc. 2) Organize from there a moderated discussion by email. 3) The research team for each topic then curates the discussion thread into a paper / book / blog post / whatever form. For example: I was recently introduced to Booki (, a collaborative book editing and publishing tool, and there are going to be others like it as well.
