posted message: Hello everyone, I am a little late to the party. I had some computer difficulties the past few days. I am a first grade teacher in eastern NC. It is a wonderful small private school. I am just getting back to work after a year of family leave. My day starts at 4:30am so I probably will not be able to participate in the live sessions. I will enjoy watching the recordings. I must admit I feel a bit under-prepared compared to some of you. When my children were younger, I kept a daily journal because I wanted to remember those little moments of each day. Now I write for work and with my first graders almost every day;however, it is very simple things. We are focused on sentences! I am excited to learn more about the Common Core.
