How can we find or elicit deep lessons from people, places, resources, and experiences in the world around us? Could selectively stringing together these 'lessons' be a form of alternative experiential education? How do we define a framework for learning from the world around us that anyone can use and adapt, or even create, on their own? This particular study group will explore these questions specifically in the Pacific Northwest, but with broader implications on learning everywhere.
