Design a system of badges to define a domain of learning

This challenge is for anyone who wants to create a system of badges to recognize and award learning (institutionally based or otherwise)

During this challenge the participant will consider and design all aspects of a badge system, including;

* the graphic look of the badges

* the network, hierarchy or system of badges

* how the badge system is going to be hosted

This challenge with be very iterative in that the learner will explore all aspects with increasing depth.

Upon completion of the challenge the learner should have designed and deployed a badge system.

Create some exercises so people deepen their understanding of the criteria from within badge system design rubric. This should include thoughts around pathways. Envision the curriculum, goals, outcomes of the badge system; then consider the rubric as you deepen the design.

Have particpants provide a peer assessment of the future task of comparing and contrasting three performance squares for one criteria row from within the rubric.
