Dear Jonathan
I am reading your post.”gun laws” because it caught my attention. Also he brings up about the senseless shooting thats been going on apart from sandy incident. I also wanted to hear more about what actions they are going to take after those tragedies.
One sentence you wrote that stand out for me is”high-powered assault rifles of the type used at aurora and newtown belong in the military and police, not in civilian hands”. I think this is true because civilian are sometimes protected by police and military so there really shouldn't be anyone bearing arms. when weapons are given to the wrong people the wrong things happen.
Another sentence that i also found interesting was when he said “i think that the government should destroy every single gun in america then nuke the other countries so that there would be no gun smuggling into our great country.
i don't agree with you that they should nuke the other countries so that there would be no gun smuggling into our great country one reason i say this is because that would just start a whole nother problem also we don't want other countries to feel like the united states is bullying other countries. Another reason i disagree with you is because we don't want to create problems we are trying to fix it. Nuking anything is starting a war, then gun control wouldn't matter.
thanks for your writing i look forward to seeing what you write next, because it brought different ideas that i didn't think about. You should talk more about this cause a lot of people don't get the big picture.
