I have long been involved in activism, and the web aspect could always use more organised structure to maximize effectiveness.
I hope to become more involved in the rising online communities and to contribute as much as possible while gaining valuable experience out here in the uncharted waters of the internet.
While I cannot participate in ogranization at this time, that may change

The topic sounds (potentially very) interesting to me, but I'm brand-new this moment to P2PU, so I don't want to commit to saying what my hopes or expectations are!
If I participated in a group/course on here, I would probably be interested in that group enough that I would be quite willing to help with the organization, work flow, etc. :-)

I'm interested in the ways in which social and economic change can be brought about to meet the needs of a rapidly changing environment.
In particular I'm keen to explore how communities can bring about the changes needed to increase local resilience, in the face of energy descent (peak oil) and climate change challenges.
I'm very interested in helping with the study group!
