Anyone can follow a guide on P2PU. Participating is the next level of engagement. The sign-up is a space where interested individuals can express their interest and background in the topic and commit to working with the rest of the participants. Please answer the following set(s) of questions if you want to become a participant or organizer.

  I'm always looking to improve my web development skills. I answered "Skilled in" above, but I wouldn't say that my skill set is nearly as good as it could, and should, be. 

  I hope to have a more rigorous understanding of proper coding techniques. I'd like to have a better organized codebase, with a clear separation of concerns. (I've never used an MVC framework or architecture before, for example. But it's something I "know" I should be doing.

  This topic is relevant to me as I am interested in building a new sort of social network. I've been building websites for years, but I've never been able to pick up the programming side very well, and have relied on CMS software.
