I'm doing NaNoWriMo this year.

What do you hope to achieve by participating?
World domination. J/K. The list of prep-activities is great and I think will really help me get the ball rolling.

Are you interested in helping with the writing group organization?
Not really. Not sure what I'm doing yet. Maybe later when I know what's going on better.

NaNoWriMo ROCKS! This will be my fourth year writing a novel in November with my 8th grade students. We all look forward to it each year -- some with fear and trembling, but overall, with enthusiasm and pride.
I hope to achieve encouragement to keep going and provide encouragement to other writers and teachers of writing. Last year I wrote a series of blog posts about how we do NaNoWriMo Young Writer's Program in my classroom.
If there is need to help with the writing group organization, I am willing.

I'd love to do a better job with #nanowrimo with my students -- and include CCSS. My grade 8's are excited about the project. I'm looking forward to sharing and growing with members and my students.

I saw there were some preperation tasks in this group for the NaNoWriMo which I liked.
I hope to write a lot, and to let myself go with my flow, with less judgement.
If there's something I could do to help I would like to know that. I can tell others about this group and about the writing challange.
I'll be glad to help by any other way!
