I became interested in Creative Commons and Open Source, because I was confused by copyright law, what was permissible and what wasn't , what was 'fair use" and what wasn't. The interenet, with Facebook, Pininterest, Tumblr etc and the share and pin it buttons and how easy it has become to unintentionally violate copyright law with these new platforms. Wanting to educate myself and use only safe sources in the right way. I am also a content creator (artwork) myself and need to learn all I can on this subject.
