    Python 2.7 and Python 3.2

I'm hoping to learn enough to start making contributions to free software projects.  Working on something like novacut would be super awesome, although that's probably going to be way out of my league for quite a while.

    OS: Mac OS X 10.6.8

    Python: 3.1

Most interested in learning how to integrate Python with web apps (and creating XBMC plugins).

IDLE would often crash on me, so I've started using Eclipse IDE with the PyDev plugin - absolutely loving that.

There is this warning in the intro text of IDLE that I haven't followed up on - anyone else see this?

WARNING: The version of Tcl/Tk (8.5.7) in use may be unstable.

    Python Version: 2.7.2

I was working with Python a couple of years ago, but most of my previous knowledge has fallin to the way side (got to exercise the muscle if you don't want it to get weak), so I'm excited to pick it back up and start doing far more useful things with it. I already have a couple of projects in mind to being with starting with using the Google Data API to build an app for a certain function I want to with my Contacts
