Anyone can follow a study group on P2PU. Participating is the next level of engagement. The sign-up is a space where interested individuals can express their interest and background in the topic and commit to working with the rest of the participants. Please answer the following set(s) of questions if you want to become a participant or organizer.

  I am interested in semantics mostly because of my work. I am interested in the semantic web because I am very interested in Natural Language Processing, its applications and its extended environment.

  I hope I get a structured ideas about the semantic web. Most of my knowledge is very basic or has a lot of gaps, as I am a self learner.

  I would help, but I my knowledge is soemwhat limited.

  I'm interested in semantics in general (my background is in mathematics, and mathematics communication is what I'm studying for my Ph. D.): the Semantic Web provides some good strategies and tools. I'm also interested in less mainstream approaches, like AI.

  My research has to do with combinations of "social" and "semantic" stuff, and I hope this course might help with foundational knowledge in these domains -- and also that we might be able to do some practical things e.g. around P2PU, or related to common interests related to resource flows.

  I'd be happy to help with group organization, for now, just let me know what I can offer.  I'll likely start blabbing about ideas in any case at some point...

  Well the ease of learning via Web by login from anyplace,anytime made me interested in joining P2PU.org and while I was browsing through the subject I came across Semantic Web development, which i was laging behind, So I am signing up to participate where i can collobarate with my peers on the subject and enhance my knowledge on the subject.

  Since its been organised as a P2P course which will let the participant share knowledge between the learner and the learning process will be quite fast.

  I will definately help with my time if required to the study group which will help in making this concept more popular in the coming years.

  I'm interested in learning all forms related to web or technological advancement/developement, with the exception of weapons. And in order to become the right type of developer, I must have a concrete understanding of such topic as semantics. It would be difficult to consider oneself an expert web developer without knowledge in web semantics.

  Oh gosh, were do I begin? It has been said that with knowledge comes power, and with power comes great responsibility. I would like to use the knowledge gained in these courses (I am taking several) to teach others, to work for world peace, and to be part of what I consider a great movement. I would love to master the subject, however, who could be considered an expert or master due to the fact that technology, especially in web developement, is advancing faster than Superman could have ever hoped to fly?  The point is that by gaining new knowledge and other attributes that comes from knowledged gained, I believe we could someday feed every hungry person around the globe, ensure they have clean water, health care, and electricity. I believe it will be web developers and other types of technological developers who come up with the grand solutions that could end up saving billions of lives.

  Indeed, as I have stated in previous answers, I would help as much as I can. Once I learn the subject, or any subject, I would be more than happy to spread the love.
