Please answer the following set(s) of questions if you want to become a participant or organizer.
This set of signup questions is common to all study groups, courses, ... in P2PU. The answers to these questions will be public once you get accepted.

Hi it's me :)
I always wanted to 'help' others.
First of all I though I would do it by being Clinical Psychologist, I've completed BSc in Psychology which I loved, but then decided Clin Psy is a bit too heavy for me.
Now, I work in clinical research (controversial, I know) and I hope I can help develop medication which will help people cure horrible diseases.
I love travelling, I live in UK since 2005, I have lots of interest but no one obsession.

Standard Set Answer:What made you interested in this topic?
It's an interesting idea with a good cause so I would like to be involved if I can contribute in any way.
What do you hope to achieve by participating?
Have fun while developing a project; meet interesting people; help people who are in a less fortunate situation than me; hopefully complete this project sucessfuly; learn along the way
Are you interested in helping with the study group organization?
I'm not sure. What would that involve?

I am 20 years old and live in Honolulu, HI. I am originally from San Jose, CA and moved here about 4 years ago. I recently got my associate's degree and am working as a medical assistant at a local hospital. I want to finish school and get at least a bachelor's but I'm not sure what I want to major in yet. I am thinking about journalism or a foreign language, or both. I enjoy reading, traveling, walking my dog, and hanging out with friends and family.

Standard Set Answer:I am interested in this topic because I love learning about different cultures and how I can make a positive difference in the world. It is also one of my dreams to be able to volunteer abroad in another country and work with non-profit organizations. I also think it is really important to give back and help make the world a better place because not only are you impacting the life of someone else, but you also get to learn a lot and experience new things.
This is my first p2pu course so I hope to learn a lot from this and have it be a good introductory experience. I hope to learn about other cultures and about the dynamics of a non-profit organization. I also hope to learn how to get more involved in my own community.
Yes, I am interested in helping with the study group organization. I am not sure what that means exactly or what I can do to help but I think it is a good way to apply what we learn here in real life.

Standard Set Answer:I have been to Keyan three times and I want to help in the bettering of individuals health, the overall living standard, orphan care, and access to information to name a few. I think this all can be done through time and effort given from not only myself but also other tourists that want to volunteer and make a difference.
