This course will become read-only in the near future. Tell us at community.p2pu.org if that is a problem.

Lesson 8: The OpAmp

Learn How To Compare And Amplify Electrical Signals

Lecture 8 Lesson Page - http://www.pyroelectro.com/edu/basics/opamp/

Moving beyond single device components we have the operational amplifier. This device is actually a combination of special transistors and other components all put inside an IC package. This lesson will perform a few experiments, look at some mathematical theory to introduce you to the many functions of the op-amp.

Discussion is open, so please let us hear the answers to your homework either here on uDemy or in our forums. Or, if you have other questions, shout them out loud!

We recently launched a Kickstarter to secure enough funding so we can build a second course: An Introduction To Digital Electronics. Right now we're 32% funded ($1600 out of $5000), but now there's only 8 days left. So if you're enjoying this introduction to modern electronics and want to continue the series, please check out our Kickstarter Page and see our plan for the next course!
