And I do hope that it will foster real cooperation and exchange among people with common interests, although the way it is sometimes performed looks like some kind of formality to overcome on the way to obtainting a badge.     It is indeed a mighty feeling to put your own blog info in a comment and something I have never thought to do before.  This seems silly now though as it is an easy way to increase traffic to your own blog!
